Boston-Saranac Historical
Society

The purpose of this organization
shall be dedicated to preserve the Boston-Saranac
area history and to inform the residents of local
historical facts so future generations will take
pride and interest in our culture and in their
roots.
Active Membership - Monthly meetings are held on the
third Monday of each month. They begin at 7:00 PM
with a business meeting, sometimes followed by a
special program. Each meeting ends with snacks and
warm fellowship. We share ideas and make
suggestions. If you want to meet new friends, visit
old one, or just get out of the house, consider an
Active Membership. The many projects such as Senior
Citizen dinners, pie making, Christmas Bazaar,
Bridgefest and the work around the Depot keep us
busy. Come join the fun and fellowship. We need your
help.
Supportive Membership - If you are already too busy
and prefer not to be involved actively, consider a
supportive membership.
Your membership dues will help the
Historical Society financially and will permit us to
continue our work. Our supportive membership seems
to be down a bit. If you have forgotten to pay your
dues, its not too late. If you have not joined our
group yet, consider doing so now. We need everyone’s
help in preserving our local history. Our dues are
$10.00 per couple, $7.00 per individual, and $5.00
per senior citizen. Lifetime Memberships are
presented to members in good standing upon their
90th birthday.
Our thanks also to all those who
have helped the Boston-Saranac Historical Society in
any way. Your help and donations are always
appreciated. Come on down, you’ll enjoy the fun. For
